Enero es un mes con temperaturas normalmente altas en todo el territorio paraguayo. Sin embargo este?a?o 2019, se registraron valores at?picos en ?reas espec?ficas por varios d?as cumpliendo con los requisitos?m?nimos establecidos para ser considerado como Olas de Calor. As? mismo se rompieron valores?hist?ricos en algunas localidades.?Uno de los factores principales que influy? para que el primer mes del a?o y parte de febrero se?caracterizaran por ser seco y muy caluroso en gran parte del pa?s fue subsidencia que predomin? en la?regi?n central de Am?rica del Sur y el escaso aporte de humedad sociado a la ausencia del jet de bajo?nivel.

Devastating wildfires cause record emissions in Northern hemisphere

Europe?s?Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) has been closely monitoring a summer of extreme wildfires across the Northern Hemisphere, including intense hotspots around the Mediterranean basin and in North America and Siberia. The intense fires led to new records in the CAMS dataset with the months of July and August seeing their highest global carbon emissions respectively.
CAMS reports that not only large parts of the Northern Hemisphere were affected during this year?s boreal fire season, but the number of fires, their persistence and intensity were remarkable.

During the last month of summer 2021, Germany was mainly under the influence of low-pressure areas centring over the British Isles from where they gradually moved to southern Scandinavia.
